Schengen Long-Stay Visa Requirements


  1. Valid Passport – Must be valid for the entire duration of the stay.

  2. Visa Application Form – Fully completed and signed.

  3. Recent Passport-Sized Photos – 3.5cm x 4.5cm, white background.

  4. Proof of Purpose of Stay:

    • Work Visa: Employment contract from an employer in the Schengen country.

    • Study Visa: Acceptance letter from a recognized educational institution.

    • Partner/Family Reunification: Proof of relationship (marriage certificate, birth certificate).

  5. Proof of Accommodation: Rental contract, proof of homeownership, or a host’s confirmation letter.

  6. Proof of Financial Means:

    • For Employees: Recent pay slips, employment contract, and latest tax returns.

    • For Business Owners: Business registration, financial statements, and tax records.

    • For Students: Proof of financial support, sponsor documents, or scholarship letters.

  7. Health Insurance: Valid for the entire duration of stay, covering medical expenses and hospitalization.

  8. Visa Fee Payment Receipt: Proof of payment of the applicable visa fee.

  9. Additional Supporting Documents: As required by the specific embassy or consulate.
